چکیده

Precision medicine aims to optimize pharmacological treatments by considering patients’ genetic, phenotypic, and environmental factors, enabling dosages personalized the individual. To address challenges associated with oral injectable administration approaches, implantable drug delivery systems have been developed. These overcome issues like patient adherence, bioavailability, first-pass metabolism. Utilizing new combinations of biodegradable polymers, proposed solution, a Polymeric Controlled Release System (PCRS), allows minimally invasive placement controlled over several weeks. This study’s objective was show that PCRS exhibits linear biphasic release profile, which would indicate potential as an effective treatment vehicle for cervical malignancies. An injection mold technique developed batch manufacturing devices, in vitro experiments demonstrated device’s geometry surface area could be varied achieve various profiles. results motivate additional development treat cancer, well other malignancies, such lung, testicular, ovarian cancers.

Electrospun polymeric nanofibers for transdermal drug delivery

Conventional transdermal drug delivery systems (TDDS) have been designed for drug delivery through the skin. These systems use the permeability property of stratum corneum, the outermost surface layer of the skin. Applying polymeric micro and nanofibers in drug delivery has recently attracted great attention and the electrospinning technique is the preferred method for polymeric micro-nanofiber...

A cooperative polymeric platform for tumor-targeted drug delivery.

In the pursuit of effective treatments for cancer, an emerging strategy is "active targeting", where nanoparticles are decorated with targeting ligands able to recognize and bind specific receptors overexpressed by tumor cells or tumor vasculature so that a greater fraction of the administered drugs are selectively trafficked to tumor sites. However, the implementation of this strategy has face...
